The Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development (Khalifa Fund) has announced the launch of the Venturist Entrepreneurship Summer Camp 2024, now in its 6th edition, inviting Emirati students aged 13 to 18 to register.
Certified by Stanford University, the camp will take place at the Khalifa Innovation Centre within Khalifa University, utilizing state-of-the-art facilities. It will span two sessions: from July 8-17, 2024, and July 22-31, 2024, offering a blend of indoor and outdoor activities to foster interactive learning.
The Venturist camp aims to cultivate entrepreneurial skills among young participants through collaborative workshops and activities. It encourages teamwork, commercial thinking, and creativity, guiding students to develop innovative business ideas aligned with current market trends and demands.

Her Excellency Alia Al Mazrouei, CEO of the Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development, emphasized the camp's role in nurturing an entrepreneurial mindset. She highlighted its comprehensive curriculum, featuring entrepreneurship workshops, business topic sessions, and engaging activities designed to equip students with essential skills for future leadership roles.
"This camp goes beyond education; it's a platform where youth can explore and develop their entrepreneurial potential," said Her Excellency Al Mazrouei. "We aim to empower young Emiratis, instilling in them the skills and confidence to drive innovation in our SME sector and beyond."
Participants will engage in daily sessions covering diverse business topics and work closely with specialist tutors to refine their business concepts. They will also benefit from a field trip to a successful business, gaining practical insights into operations and networking with industry professionals.
The camp will feature guest speakers who are successful entrepreneurs, sharing their experiences and insights with students. These interactions aim to inspire and guide participants towards practical solutions and strategic thinking in business.
The culmination of the camp will see student teams presenting their business ideas to a panel of judges, competing for recognition based on creativity, feasibility, and market relevance. This final event underscores the camp's goal of nurturing young talent and fostering a culture of innovation in the UAE.
