Rapper Sean Kingston found himself in legal trouble following a police raid at his mansion in South Florida, resulting in his arrest, according to reports from ABC News citing the Broward County Sheriff's Office. The 34-year-old artist, born Kisean Anderson, was apprehended "without incident," authorities noted. Kingston faces multiple charges related to fraud and theft and is expected to be booked into a San Bernardino Jail, as outlined in the ABC News report. Additionally, before Kingston's arrest, his mother was also taken into custody by a SWAT team at their Florida residence.
The New York Post reported that Kingston was arrested while performing at a concert on a California army base. Videos circulating on social media depicted law enforcement presence at Fort Irwin's "Army Field" while the rapper was onstage performing his hit song 'Eenie Meenie'.
Similarly, Kingston's mother is facing similar charges in connection with the alleged fraudulent activities.

Following his mother's arrest, Kingston took to his Instagram Story to reassure fans, stating, "People love negative energy! I am good, and so is my mother! ... My lawyers are handling everything as we speak."
The arrests stem from accusations that Kingston defrauded a technology company out of thousands of dollars in a deal involving a television and speaker system. Ver Ver Entertainment LLC filed a lawsuit against him in February, alleging breach of contract and fraud. According to the Post, Kingston initiated contact with the company via Instagram to purchase a 232-inch television and a sound system for $111,000, promising to create promotional videos featuring his friend Justin Bieber. However, the company claims that Kingston failed to fulfill his end of the agreement, alleging that at the time of the purchase, Kingston had no ongoing professional relationship with Bieber and no intention of producing the promised promotional content.
Kingston and Bieber famously collaborated on the song 'Eenie Meenie', which featured on Bieber's debut album in 2010.
Robert Rosenblatt, an attorney representing Kingston and his mother, acknowledged the allegations against them and expressed confidence in a favorable outcome. "We are aware of some of the allegations," Rosenblatt stated. "We look forward to addressing these in court and are confident of a successful resolution for Shawn and his mother."
