The United Arab Emirates has strongly condemned the recent missile attacks that targeted its territory and several other brotherly nations in the region, calling them a clear violation of national sovereignty and international law.
In an official statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) described the attacks as a blatant breach of the Charter of the United Nations. The UAE expressed its full solidarity and unwavering support for the countries affected, stressing that regional security is indivisible. It stated that any attack on the sovereignty of one nation is a direct threat to the stability and security of the entire region.
The UAE firmly rejected the use of regional territories as battlegrounds for settling disputes or expanding conflicts. It warned that continued violations could have serious consequences, including risks to regional and international security, global economic stability, and energy security.
The statement also emphasized the importance of restraint and called for diplomatic solutions and serious dialogue. According to the UAE, peaceful discussions remain the most effective way to overcome the current crisis and protect regional stability.
At the same time, the UAE made it clear that it retains its full and legitimate right to respond to these attacks in a manner that protects its sovereignty, national security, and territorial integrity. The country said it will not accept any threat or compromise to its security under any circumstances and will act in accordance with international law.
The UAE also extended its sincere condolences to the family of the Pakistani national who lost his life in the attacks. It expressed full solidarity with the family and strongly condemned the targeting of civilians and civilian infrastructure, stating that such acts are strictly prohibited under international humanitarian law.
