On Thursday, Taylor posted on her Instagram. She wrote, "The fires in California have hurt many families, and it's been hard to see all the damage." She added, "So much loss and sadness. But there are also many great groups helping to rebuild these communities." Swift shared a list of charities that are working to help, such as the California Community Foundation Fund, Greater Los Angeles Education Relief, Habitat for Humanity, and MusiCares. She said, "These are the organizations I’ve donated to. If you can, please donate."
Taylor owns a big house in Beverly Hills, but luckily, it has not been harmed by the fires. She bought the house in 2015 for $25 million. Taylor has not been in California when the fires started. She’s been spending time in Kansas City and New York instead.
Many of Taylor’s friends, including Keleigh and Miles Teller, have lost their homes due to the fires. Some other famous people are also helping. Actress Jamie Lee Curtis gave $1 million to help the community, and Bethenny Frankel sent important supplies and money to people who lost their homes.
The wildfires in Los Angeles have caused a lot of damage, but many people are coming together to help. Taylor Swift is doing her part by donating money and asking others to help too.
