iGenius, a company from Italy, is working on a big project to build a new data center in southern Italy. The project will cost $1 billion and is expected to be ready by the summer. They are using technology from the company Nvidia. The CEO of iGenius, Uljan Sharka, said the project was so expensive that they had to raise more money than they first planned. They wanted to raise 650 million euros, but now they need more.

The new supercomputer in the data center will be really fast. It will be able to do 115 billion calculations every second. This is much faster than the best computers in Europe, which could only do 0.5 billion calculations per second. The new computer will use special chips called "Blackwell" from Nvidia. These chips are much stronger and use less energy than the older ones.
The data center will have 80 powerful servers from Nvidia, with 72 Blackwell chips in each. iGenius decided to build the center in southern Italy because the area has a lot of clean energy, which is good for the project.
iGenius started in 2016 and is one of the few AI companies in Europe worth more than $1 billion. They compete with other big AI companies like Mistral from France and DeepL from Germany.
iGenius also launched a new product called Colosseum 355B. This tool helps companies that need to keep their data safe, like banks and factories. iGenius is different from companies like OpenAI because they make tools that companies can use on their own systems to keep their data private.
iGenius is talking to companies in areas like finance, factories, and government. These companies need to make sure their data is safe, so iGenius’s new product is perfect for them.
This big project and new tool will help iGenius grow and become even more successful in the future.
