Hamad Al Hammadi, the Chairman of PureHealth, said that the company’s great results prove their smart plan, hard work, and the trust from their partners. He said 2024 was a big year, and the company grew both in the UAE and globally. They plan to keep growing and make their investors happy.
Shaista Asif, the CEO of PureHealth, said that 2024 was a year of big changes. The company added new businesses and services. They bought Circle Health Group in the UK to offer healthcare outside of the UAE and added Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City (SSMC) in the UAE to improve their specialized care. She also said that in 2025, they will keep using technology to make healthcare even better.
The biggest growth came from their hospitals, which saw an 87% rise, reaching AED19.7 billion in revenue. This was because more people visited their hospitals, and they added more services. As a result, 66% more people used their services in the UAE and UK. They also added almost 4,900 more hospital beds. More people visited for outpatient, inpatient, and emergency care.
In insurance, the company grew by 17%, reaching AED6.9 billion in revenue because more people signed up for insurance. Their procurement business grew by 27%, reaching AED5.2 billion. This was because they got more customers and grew in medical equipment and medicine. Their diagnostic services saw a small rise, and the new technology business earned AED469 million in its first year.
PureHealth also made big moves globally. They bought Circle Health Group in the UK, which added over 50 hospitals and 9,000 employees. They also added SSMC to strengthen their specialized care. The company sold some businesses like YAS Clinics and the Abu Dhabi Stem Cells Centre (ADSCC) to focus more on specialized healthcare. Another important move was when Ardent Health Services, a U.S. healthcare company that PureHealth partly owns, listed on the New York Stock Exchange.
PureHealth is also focused on being responsible to the environment. They released their first Sustainability Report, which follows global rules for social and environmental responsibility. The company set a goal to stop producing harmful emissions by 2040. They also joined the UN’s Race to Zero program to help reduce pollution worldwide.
After 2024, PureHealth kept expanding. In January 2025, Ardent Health Services bought 18 urgent care clinics in the U.S. to improve healthcare access. They also announced they would buy 60% of Hellenic Healthcare Group (HHG), the largest private healthcare provider in Greece and Cyprus. HHG has 10 hospitals and 16 diagnostic centers, treating about 1.4 million patients every year.
PureHealth’s plan is to keep growing their healthcare services around the world. They want to use technology to make healthcare better and easier to access for everyone.
