Bencic and Krueger both played very well to reach the final. Bencic had a tough match against last year’s champion, Elena Rybakina. She lost the first set but fought back to win the match. Krueger also performed strongly, defeating Linda Noskova to enter the final. The final match was thrilling, with both players giving their best effort. However, Bencic’s experience helped her win the title once again.

Many important guests attended the event, including His Excellency Aref Al Awani, General Secretary of the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, Dr. Ahmed Abdullah Al Qubaisi, Acting Assistant General Secretary of ADSC, Homaid Al Shimmari, Deputy Group CEO at Mubadala Investment Company, Portia Archer, CEO of WTA, Roberto Ranieri, WTA Supervisor, Claire Wood, Tournament Referee, and Nigel Gupta, Tournament Director.

On the last day, young tennis players from the Road to Mubadala Abu Dhabi Open program were also honored. This program helps young players in the UAE improve their skills and compete internationally. It is approved by the UAE Tennis Federation and includes tournaments in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Fujairah. The best players from these competitions get to play in the WTA 500 event.
