Dubai, UAE – His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, met with His Excellency Andrzej Duda, President of Poland, during the first day of the World Governments Summit (WGS) 2025.
The summit, which started on Tuesday and will run until February 13, is being held under the theme “Shaping Future Governments.”
Focus on UAE-Poland Relations
During their meeting, Sheikh Mohammed and President Duda discussed ways to strengthen relations between the UAE and Poland. They talked about new opportunities for economic cooperation and how Poland’s participation in WGS 2025 could help build stronger global partnerships in government innovation.

Sheikh Mohammed highlighted that the World Governments Summit is an important platform for bringing countries together. He said the event allows nations to work as partners in shaping a better future for people across the world. His Highness also shared the UAE’s commitment to improving government services and learning from the best global practices. This, he said, would help nations solve challenges, support sustainable development, and create better opportunities for the future.
President Duda praised the UAE for hosting a summit that brings world leaders together to share ideas and knowledge. He appreciated the efforts of the UAE in promoting international cooperation through WGS.
