For the first time, matches will happen in four rings at the same time. This will make the fights more exciting for both the fighters and the fans watching. A total of 183 coaches will guide their teams, and 60 referees will be there to make sure all fights are fair.
This championship is an important event in the UAE Muay Thai and Kickboxing Federation’s yearly plan. It will officially start the 2025 tournament season. The event is a chance for young fighters to improve their skills, show their talent, and maybe get picked for the national team. Fighters aged 8 to 23 will be divided into different weight groups based on their age.
The event will start with weigh-ins and medical check-ups on February 12, which will be done in both Abu Dhabi and Dubai. The fights will begin on February 14 at 2:00 PM. The second day of matches will start on February 15 at 11:00 AM. The final fights will take place on February 16, also starting at 11:00 AM.
Ali Khouri, who is a Board Member of the UAE Muay Thai and Kickboxing Federation, said he is very happy with how many fighters and clubs have signed up. He said this shows that the sport is getting stronger in the UAE. He also said that this championship will set a new record, not only because so many fighters are joining, but also because the fights will be very competitive.
Khouri also said that this event is part of the plan made by His Excellency Abdullah Saeed Al Neyadi, who is the President of the Asian and Arab Muay Thai Federations and the UAE Muay Thai and Kickboxing Federation. His leadership has helped create a busy schedule full of big tournaments, training programs, and events to make the sport better.
He added that this championship will help fighters get better at their skills, gain more experience, and help Muay Thai grow in this region. With a record number of fighters, strong teams from many countries, and top-level organization, the UAE Muay Thai Championship will be a special event in the world of combat sports.
