In 2024, the programme helped hire 304 Emirati men and women. It also set up 763 interviews and shared 345 job openings with companies, both government and private. The programme also held 978 awareness sessions to help job seekers be ready for work and improve their skills.
The DAWAMEE Programme focuses on Emirati citizens who are over 18 years old, especially people of determination, low-income families, and those living in remote areas. This free online platform connects job seekers with employers, offering flexible job options that suit the needs of the Emirati workforce.
His Excellency Ahmed Taleb AlShamsi, CEO of Emirates Foundation, shared his thoughts on the programme's success. He said, "The DAWAMEE Programme plays an important role in offering flexible job opportunities for Emiratis. It helps create jobs that allow national talent to grow. Our results in 2024 show our commitment to supporting the UAE’s goals and making sure that Emiratis are included in the country's growing economy."
By surpassing its achievements from last year, the DAWAMEE Programme is still a leading project of Emirates Foundation. It shows the foundation’s commitment to supporting Emirati talent and strengthening the job market. The programme helps create a strong and ready workforce, which will help grow the economy of the UAE.
