Egypt and Bahrain Want to Work Together More in Air Travel

Egypt’s Civil Aviation Minister, Dr. Sameh El-Hefny, met with Bahrain’s Transportation Minister, Dr. Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, at the 2024 Bahrain International Airshow. They talked about how the two countries can work together in air travel.

The Ministry of Civil Aviation in Egypt said both ministers agreed that it is important to work together to grow air travel. They also discussed how to make airports better, improve the travel experience for passengers, and keep airports safe.

The ministers also talked about Bahrain’s request to add more direct flights and cargo services between Egypt and Bahrain to help increase trade.

Dr. El-Hefny said he was happy to be part of the 2024 Bahrain International Airshow and called it an important event. The statement also said that his participation shows the strong relationship between Egypt and Bahrain.
