The Ports, Customs, and Free Zone Corporation has announced a new specialized vocational program aimed at bolstering the logistics sector by preparing young Emiratis for key roles within this vital industry. This initiative is part of a broader effort to invest in the professional development of Emirati youth, providing them with top-notch training and facilitating their integration into the labor market. The program is designed to align with Dubai Customs' ongoing mission to enhance the capabilities of young Emiratis through specialized education and hands-on field training, ensuring they meet the highest standards in logistics.
His Excellency Nasser Al Neyadi, CEO of the Ports, Customs, and Free Zone Corporation, underscored that this new vocational program is a reflection of the leadership’s vision and supports the objectives of the ‘Dubai Economic Agenda D33’. This agenda aims to integrate more Emiratis into the workforce and improve their productivity and economic contribution. The program is also in harmony with the ‘Dubai Social Agenda 33’, initiated by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, which focuses on increasing Emirati participation in the private sector, thereby fostering self-sufficiency and financial independence. Al Neyadi emphasized the pride Dubai Customs takes in contributing to Dubai’s strategic goals and future plans through this initiative.
