This collaboration underscores the power of cross-sector partnerships in driving healthcare innovation. ADGHW serves as a dynamic platform for fostering such collaborations, enabling the UAE to attract leading international organizations to contribute their expertise towards national healthcare projects and initiatives.

Dr Noura Khamis Al Ghaithi highlighted DoH's commitment to global collaborations aimed at advancing healthcare. She emphasized the significance of the agreement with IFEM in addressing future health challenges, particularly in emergency medicine, and expressed eagerness to work together to ensure universal access to high-quality emergency medical care.

The agreement between DoH and IFEM seeks to enhance emergency medicine practices through the exchange of experiences and technologies aligned with international standards. It aims to support specialist emergency doctors and their teams through joint training, expertise sharing, and research initiatives, with a focus on skill enhancement.

Dr Ffion Davies, President of IFEM, hailed the collaboration as a significant step towards global improvement in emergency patient care. She expressed excitement about establishing a geographical hub of activity in Abu Dhabi, facilitating impactful initiatives to enhance emergency medicine.

This partnership builds upon previous collaborations between DoH and IFEM, including educational programs and events aimed at advancing emergency medicine. Notably, in late 2023, IFEM organized the Global Emergency Nursing Summit with DoH's support, bringing together emergency nursing experts worldwide to address challenges and celebrate advancements in the field.
