Tom Welling, Smallville Star, Arrested for DUI in California

Tom Welling, who is famous for playing Clark Kent in *Smallville*, was arrested for driving under the influence in Yreka, California. This happened on January 26, 2025, just after midnight. Police from the Yreka Police Department took him into custody in an Arby’s parking lot.

Tom was charged with driving under the influence because his blood alcohol level was over the legal limit of 0.08%. The arrest report said he had a “clear” face, short hair, and stubble, and weighed 240 pounds. His speech was also “clear,” and it listed his job as "actor—self-employed."

Tom was let go without paying bail at around 7 a.m. on Sunday. Even though this happened, he is still well-known for his role as Clark Kent in *Smallville*. The show ran for 10 years, from 2001 to 2011, and told the story of how Superman became a hero. The show was on The WB network and later became part of The CW in 2006.

In a recent interview, Tom said he would be happy to play Superman again if given the chance. He said, “It would be great. I think it would be fun to be part of it again.”

Besides Smallville, Tom Welling has acted in other movies and TV shows like Cheaper by the Dozen, Draft Day, Lucifer, The Fog, Batwoman, The Winchesters, and The Choice.
