Neymar, the famous Brazilian footballer, has ended his time with Al-Hilal, a football club in Saudi Arabia. On Monday, the club said that Neymar and the team had agreed to stop his contract. Al-Hilal thanked Neymar for his time with them and wished him good luck in the future. Neymar joined Al-Hilal in August 2023, but he only played seven games because of injuries. It is said that Neymar was paid around $104 million each year at the club.

Before joining Al-Hilal, Neymar played for other famous teams. He started playing football in Brazil with Santos, where he became very popular. In 2013, he moved to Barcelona, where he played with well-known players like Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez. Neymar helped Barcelona win the Champions League in 2015. In 2017, Neymar made a record-breaking move to Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), a team in France, for €220 million, which was the most money ever paid for a footballer. At PSG, Neymar won five league titles.
In 2023, Neymar joined Al-Hilal in Saudi Arabia, where he played with other famous players like Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema. However, his time in Saudi Arabia was not good because of injuries. Two months after joining, Neymar hurt his knee while playing for Brazil in a World Cup match. The injury kept him out of football for almost a year. He played only two games for Al-Hilal in October and November 2023 before hurting his leg again. He has not played since then.
The coach of Al-Hilal, Jorge Jesus, said that Neymar could not play as well as before. Neymar has said that he wants to play in the 2026 World Cup in the United States, Canada, and Mexico, and he believes this will be his last chance to play in a World Cup.
There were also rumors that Neymar might play in the United States for Major League Soccer (MLS). Other news reports said Neymar could return to Brazil to play for Santos, the team where he became famous. If Neymar goes back to Brazil, it could be the last chapter of his football career. Neymar is the top scorer for Brazil, with 79 goals in 127 matches.
Neymar has had a wonderful career in football. Even though his time at Al-Hilal was short and full of injuries, he is still one of the most famous football players in the world. We will have to wait and see what Neymar decides to do next. Will he go back to Brazil, or will he play in another World Cup? Time will tell.
