ABU DHABI Alpha Dhabi Holding has bought 73.73% of the National Corporation for Tourism and Hotels (NCTH). This happened after Alpha Dhabi sold some of its business to NCTH in exchange for shares.

This deal helps NCTH become stronger and also boosts Alpha Dhabi’s investment in the luxury hotel business, both in the UAE and around the world. The deal also includes four top hotel properties.
Among the hotels transferred are two well-known ones in Abu Dhabi: The St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort and Al Wathba, a Luxury Collection Desert Resort &. The deal also includes two luxury resorts: Cheval Blanc Randheli in the Maldives and the new Cheval Blanc Seychelles.
By combining its hotel business with NCTH, Alpha Dhabi is showing its plan to grow and expand. This move will also make the company stronger.
With these new hotels, NCTH now owns a total of eight hotels with nearly 1,500 rooms. This makes NCTH even more important in the hotel industry.
Eng. Hamad Salem Al Ameri, CEO of Alpha Dhabi Holding, said, “This deal shows Alpha Dhabi’s plan to invest in important areas like luxury tourism. It helps us grow in the UAE market and expand in international luxury tourism.”
The new hotels will join NCTH’s other well-known properties like the InterContinental Abu Dhabi, InterContinental Residences Abu Dhabi, Danat Al Ain Resort, Danat Jebel Dhanna Resort, and Dhafra Beach Hotel. NCTH also offers services like catering, retail, and transportation.
