Al Fardan Exchange has officially signed an agreement to secure the naming rights of a station on the Dubai Metro, marking a major milestone for the company and highlighting Dubai’s strong public-private partnership model.
Hassan Fardan Al Fardan, Chief Executive Officer of Al Fardan Exchange, expressed pride and happiness over the agreement. He said being part of the Metro network — used daily by millions of passengers — reflects the company’s growth and commitment to serving customers across the UAE.
The newly named station is located on Sheikh Zayed Road, one of the most important highways in the country, connecting emirates and communities. Al Fardan said the move supports its goal of providing convenient and reliable financial services in locations that are central to people’s daily lives. The company also plans to enhance customer experience by opening new branches across several Metro stations.
Habib Wehbi, Chairman and Group Chief Executive Officer of W Group Holding, described the naming ceremony — held inside the Metro station — as an important moment that demonstrates the strength of Dubai’s public-private partnerships. He said the station naming rights initiative goes beyond traditional advertising and aligns with the Government of Dubai’s vision to integrate brands into everyday life within one of the world’s most connected cities.
Under the naming rights agreement, the station’s new name will appear across all wayfinding signage, road signs, entrances and exits, escalators, smart and electronic systems, RTA public transport apps, onboard Metro audio announcements, and digital advertising screens.
These branding privileges helped Al Fardan Exchange reach 19 million consumers, generating around 62 million brand views last year.
The exclusive rights to manage and oversee naming agreements for public transport stations in Dubai are held by Mada Media. The company was established in 2024 under Law No. (20) of 2024 as a private joint-stock company. It operates under a concession agreement with Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) to organize, develop, and manage the out-of-home advertising sector across the emirate.
Mada Media’s mandate also covers 14 stations on the upcoming Dubai Metro Blue Line, which is currently under construction and scheduled to begin operations on 9 September 2029, including two future stations.
One of the key highlights of the Blue Line project is the iconic Emaar Properties Station, which is set to become the tallest metro station in the world. Located in Dubai Creek Harbour, the station will span approximately 10,800 square metres and is designed to handle up to 160,000 passengers per day.
Mada Media has invited investors and partners to take advantage of station naming rights opportunities, offering brands direct access to millions of residents and visitors across Dubai while supporting innovation and growth in the advertising sector.
