When Sheikh Khaled arrived, a grand welcome was given to him. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif walked with him to the stage, where the national anthems of both countries were played. Soldiers stood in a line to show respect, and the two leaders inspected the guard of honor, showing the deep and strong bond between the UAE and Pakistan.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif warmly welcomed Sheikh Khaled and spoke about the close ties between the two countries. Both leaders agreed that they should work together more, especially in businesses and projects that help the people of both nations. Sheikh Khaled said that the UAE and Pakistan share the same goal of making their economies stronger and improving the lives of their people. He also said that their teamwork in areas like railway expansion, mining, and banking is very important for growing trade and investment.
After their discussion, the two leaders watched as important agreements were signed. One of the agreements was between Etihad Rail and Pakistan’s Ministry of Railways to improve the railway system and build new railway lines to help people and goods move easily across the country. Another big deal was signed between International Resources Holding (IRH), a company that works in mining, and Mari Energies. They plan to work together to find copper and gold in Balochistan’s Chagai district.
Another agreement was signed between Eve Holding RCS, a company under 2PointZero, and First Women Bank Limited (FWBL). As part of this deal, Eve Holding RCS will buy most of the bank’s shares. This is part of Pakistan’s plan to sell some of its government-owned businesses to improve the banking sector. One more agreement was signed between AD Ports Group and Pakistan’s Board of Investment to look into creating a Special Economic Zone near Karachi Port and Port Qasim to boost trade and business.
Many important people from both countries attended the meeting. Among them were Sheikh Zayed bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Sheikh Khalifa bin Tahnoon bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, UAE officials, and business leaders. Pakistan’s top officials were also present to witness the agreements being signed.
This visit showed the strong friendship between the UAE and Pakistan. Both leaders promised to keep working together and make their relationship even better in the future. They hope that these agreements will bring more jobs, better business, and new opportunities for both countries.
