Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who is the Ruler’s Representative in Al Ain, met with a group from the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi. The group was led by Mohamed Khalifa Al Mubarak, who is the Chairman of the department. Others at the meeting included Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Saood Abdulaziz Al Hosani, who is the Undersecretary of the department, and Mohamed Abdalla Al Zaabi, the CEO of Miral Group.

During the meeting, Sheikh Hazza was given details about new plans and ideas to make the culture and tourism sectors in Al Ain better. The discussion focused on how these sectors can bring more investment and help the city grow in a way that benefits both people and businesses. Officials spoke about how important it is to build a strong future for tourism and culture, which can help the local people and create new job chances.
Sheikh Hazza said that making Al Ain’s tourism stronger is part of Abu Dhabi’s big plan to be a well-known travel destination. He also pointed out that the UAE’s President, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, is working to ensure that development is balanced, improves people’s lives, and creates jobs.
He talked about Al Ain’s many historical and old sites and said they should be protected and promoted so that more people visit. He stressed the need to develop projects that share Al Ain’s cultural past while also making sure visitors have a good experience.
Sheikh Hazza also said that more people should be encouraged to visit Al Ain by showing them the city’s deep history, natural beauty, and lively culture. He mentioned that events like the Traditional Handicrafts Festival, Al Ain Book Festival, Mother of the Nation Festival, and Dar Al Zain Festival help bring in tourists. These events make the city more attractive to both local and international visitors.
He made it clear that the UAE is fully supporting the growth of culture and tourism in Al Ain while keeping the city’s history and traditions safe. By focusing on sustainable tourism and taking care of its heritage, Al Ain can become a top place to visit, where people can see the UAE’s rich culture and history.
