Emirates SkyCargo’s freighter A6-EFV, which was delivered in July 2024, has now received the airline’s fresh new look. When the aircraft first arrived, it had no livery and was immediately put into service to meet the growing global demand for air cargo. But now, after eight days of dedicated work at Emirates Engineering, it has become the first freighter to showcase Emirates SkyCargo’s latest signature livery.
A team of experts at Emirates Engineering’s in-house paint shop carefully applied the updated design. The most noticeable change is on the tailfin, where the UAE flag now appears in a more dynamic, flowing style with a 3D effect. The gold Emirates lettering on the aircraft’s body, both in English and Arabic, has been enlarged and made bolder, making it even more striking. However, some signature elements remain unchanged, such as the Arabic calligraphy on the engines and the red branding on the belly, which has been a key part of Emirates’ identity for decades.

Nadeem Sultan, Senior Vice President of Cargo Planning and Freighters at Emirates SkyCargo, highlighted the importance of this update, saying:
"Emirates SkyCargo freighters are some of the most instantly recognizable aircraft in the skies, carrying valuable goods to and from 38 destinations worldwide. Our investment in the new livery reflects our ongoing commitment to modernizing our fleet while expanding our capacity to serve customers globally."
This new livery was first introduced in March 2023 and marks the third evolution of Emirates’ branding since the airline was founded in 1985. Over time, all 10 Boeing 777 freighters in the Emirates SkyCargo fleet will be repainted to match the new design. Additionally, Emirates has ordered 13 new freighters, and these aircraft will be delivered fully painted in the updated livery.
This refresh not only enhances the visual appeal of Emirates SkyCargo’s aircraft but also reinforces the airline’s strong global presence as it continues to transport essential goods across the world.
