Under the Honorary Presidency of Her Highness Sheikha Fatima Bint Hazza Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the prestigious Al Shira’aa International Horse Show returns for its ninth edition from 20 to 25 January 2026, ushering in a new era with its relocation to the state-of-the-art Al Forsan International Sports Resort.
Recognized as one of the Middle East’s leading international show jumping events, the Al Shira’aa International Horse Show continues to expand in both scale and sporting excellence. Over six days of elite competition, the event will host more than 350 horses and 150 riders representing Europe, the Middle East, and other global equestrian hubs. Competitors will vie for a total prize fund exceeding €700,000, further cementing the show’s status on the international circuit.
The 2026 sporting programme features an extensive range of FEI-sanctioned classes, including CSI4-W, CSI2, CSI Young Horses, CSI Under 25, CSI Juniors, CSI Children, and CSI Amateurs**. This comprehensive structure highlights the event’s commitment to nurturing emerging talent while providing a clear progression pathway from youth categories to top-tier international sport.

Several signature classes return as major highlights of the week. The Al Futtaim Ride & Drive once again promises to entertain crowds, while the Al Shira’aa Hickstead Speed Derby, inspired by one of the most iconic speed classes in the sport, delivers high-energy evening competition under floodlights. Supported by Longines and valued returning partners including AMEA, KAR Sporthorses, and Equitrans Logistics, the competition builds toward its climax on Sunday, 25 January at 18:30.
The pinnacle event, the Al Shira’aa Longines CSI4-W FEI Jumping World Cup™ Grand Prix*, will be contested over two challenging rounds at heights of 1.55–1.60 metres, attracting top-ranked riders from around the world.
General admission is free, with advance online registration required. Gates will open daily from 09:00, welcoming spectators, families, and first-time visitors to experience world-class equestrian sport in an inclusive and vibrant environment.
For guests seeking a premium experience, a selection of VIP hospitality packages will be available, featuring fine dining curated by ERTH. VIP rider passes start from AED 3,500, while full hospitality packages range up to AED 25,000, offering exclusive access, premium seating, and elevated service throughout the event.
Beyond the competition arenas, visitors can explore the lively Event Village, the social centerpiece of the show. The Village offers food and beverage outlets, children’s activities, family entertainment, and a curated selection of equestrian and lifestyle brands, ensuring a rich experience for all ages.
The Al Shira’aa International Horse Show is a flagship event within the growing Al Shira’aa Tour, a global initiative dedicated to supporting equestrian sport at every level while showcasing historic and world-class competitions on the international stage.
