A video showing a British police officer kicking and stamping on a man's head during an arrest at Manchester Airport in northern England has led to significant controversy. The footage, recorded by an onlooker and shared on social media, depicts a chaotic scene in an airport car park where multiple officers armed with tasers were restraining two suspects. The video shows one suspect being kicked and stamped on while lying face down, and another appearing to be struck in the head.

The incident prompted a protest outside a nearby police station late Wednesday night. Demonstrators, numbering at least 100, were filmed chanting "Shame on you GMP" in response to the footage.
In a statement, Greater Manchester Police (GMP) described the video as "truly shocking" and acknowledged the public's alarm. GMP noted that the officers had been responding to reports of an assault and that three officers were assaulted during the response, including one female officer who sustained a broken nose. As a result, one male officer has been removed from operational duties, and the police response has been voluntarily referred to the Independent Office of Police Conduct (IOPC) for review.
The two men arrested at the airport face charges including assault, assault of an emergency worker, affray, and obstructing police. GMP has not disclosed further details about the identities of the arrested individuals. The protest concluded without further incidents, according to police reports.
