Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Explores Gardens by the Bay in Singapore

His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, recently visited Gardens by the Bay, a renowned attraction in Singapore, as part of his official visit to the Republic. This iconic destination is celebrated for its innovative landscape and commitment to environmental sustainability.

During the visit, His Highness was briefed on Singapore's groundbreaking initiatives in urban greening and sustainability, highlighting the city-state's efforts to integrate nature into its urban environment. This focus aligns closely with global trends emphasizing the importance of sustainable development.

The Crown Prince's tour included stops at the Cloud Forest, a stunning indoor garden featuring a misty waterfall and a variety of vibrant plants and flowers that thrive in a cool, moist environment. He also explored the Supertree Grove, where towering tree-shaped structures are adorned with colorful lights and incorporate sound systems to host unique evening performances.

Sheikh Khaled commended Gardens by the Bay as a prime example of successfully blending urban and economic development with extensive green spaces. He noted that such initiatives are crucial for promoting sustainable growth and ensuring a better future for upcoming generations.

In a message penned in the guestbook at Gardens by the Bay, His Highness expressed his admiration for the facility, stating: “Today, I had the pleasure of visiting Gardens by the Bay, which embodies Singapore’s commitment to sustainability and innovation.
