This afternoon, light rain fell in different parts of the UAE. The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) said rain was seen in Adhen, Al Ghail, Ras Al Khaimah, and Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Road in Fujairah. Dibba, Fujairah, also had light rain. Earlier in the day, places like Al Suyoh in Sharjah, Ras Al Khaimah, and Umm Al Quwain had light to moderate rain. In Dubai, Dubai International Airport and Al Minhad had light showers. In Abu Dhabi, the Al Bateen area also got some rain in the morning.

Along with the rain, dust storms have made the air dusty and unclear. The NCM gave yellow and orange alerts to warn people about low visibility. At Al Maktoum International Airport, people could see only up to 2000 meters at 2 PM because of the dust. The NCM has asked people to be careful. Drivers should drive slowly, and everyone should keep their windows and doors closed to stop dust from coming inside. People should also avoid going outside too much and follow weather updates.
A video shared on the Instagram page Storm_ae showed strong winds and dusty weather in the northwest of Dubai this afternoon.
For tomorrow, the weather will still be dusty and partly cloudy, especially in the north, coastal, and eastern areas. At night and early morning on Thursday, humidity will rise. The wind will be moderate to strong and will blow dust and sand in many places. Wind speed will be between 20 to 35 km/hr and may go up to 50 km/hr.
The sea will also be rough. The Arabian Gulf will have very rough waves, and the Oman Sea will also be rough.
The NCM advises people to keep checking weather reports to know about changes in temperature and weather conditions in different cities of the UAE.
