Malaysia’s transport minister, Anthony Loke, said on Tuesday that search efforts for missing Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 have started again. A company called Ocean Infinity has sent its ships to look for the plane.

Loke said that the Malaysian government and Ocean Infinity are still discussing contract details. However, he welcomed the company’s quick action to begin the search. He did not say when the company started searching or how long it will continue.
In December, Malaysia’s government said it had agreed to start a new search for MH370. The plane disappeared on March 8, 2014, while flying from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing. There were 239 people on board. Even after a huge search, no one has been able to find the plane. Some pieces of debris were found in different places, but the main wreckage remains missing.
Loke said Ocean Infinity has shown that it is fully prepared for the search. "They have convinced us that they are ready. That’s why the Malaysian government is moving forward with this," he said.
With the new search happening, families of passengers and experts hope that the mystery of MH370 will finally be solved.
