The UAE’s elite powerboat teams are gearing up for the fourth round of the UIM F1H2O World Championship, hitting the waters of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, from November 27 to 29. The championship, renowned as the pinnacle of single-seater inshore circuit racing, promises intense competition and high-speed thrills.
Dubai International Marine Club’s Ahmed Al Semeiti emphasized the significance of the Jeddah Grand Prix for UAE teams. “After our strong performance in the previous round, the teams are motivated to push harder and maintain their lead in the championship standings,” he said.
From Abu Dhabi, the Marine Sports Club will field two powerful boats: No. 6, piloted by Erik Stark, and No. 5, steered by Mansoor Al Mansoori. Nasser Al Dhaheri, Director of Modern Sports Events, will lead the delegation, ensuring seamless coordination on and off the water.
Sharjah’s representation comes via the Sharjah International Marine Sports Club, entering boats No. 17 and 18 into the highly competitive fleet. Both clubs bring experienced teams, well-prepared vessels, and strategic plans to challenge for top positions in this high-profile championship.
As the UAE contenders prepare to take on international rivals, spectators can expect a display of precision, speed, and daring maneuvers, reflecting the growing prominence of Middle Eastern powerboat racing on the global stage.
The Jeddah round of the F1H2O World Championship is poised to be a thrilling spectacle, with UAE teams aiming to consolidate their positions while pushing the limits of inshore circuit racing.
