Hamad Rashid Al Hebsi has officially presented his credentials as UAE Ambassador to the Syrian Arab Republic to Ahmad Al-Sharaa, President of Syria, during a ceremony at the People’s Palace in Damascus. Al Hebsi conveyed greetings from President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and Vice President Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, wishing Syria progress and prosperity.
In return, President Al-Sharaa extended his greetings to the UAE leadership and expressed his wishes for continued development and success for the UAE government and its people. He also wished Ambassador Al Hebsi success in his mission to strengthen relations between the two countries and offered full support to facilitate his duties.
Al Hebsi expressed his pride in representing the UAE in Syria and reaffirmed his commitment to enhancing bilateral relations across political, economic, and cultural sectors. He highlighted the importance of cooperation to consolidate ties between the UAE and the Syrian Arab Republic.
During the meeting, both sides discussed potential areas of collaboration and ways to develop them to meet the interests of both countries. The talks emphasized joint efforts in multiple fields to support shared goals and strengthen partnerships that benefit the peoples of the UAE and Syria.
This step marks a significant move in UAE–Syria relations, aiming to expand diplomatic, economic, and cultural cooperation and ensure closer ties between the two friendly nations.
