The Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority (Adafsa) has taken decisive action by ordering the closure of 'Toshka Cafetria,' a cafeteria in Abu Dhabi. This decision stems from the establishment's repeated violations of food safety requirements, as outlined in the Abu Dhabi Emirate Food Law No. (2) of 2008 and its associated regulations.

The specific violations that led to the closure were highlighted in a food control report conducted by Adafsa. The cafeteria failed to adhere to health standards and neglected essential food safety requirements, thereby posing a significant risk to public health. Notably, inspectors found insects in the food preparation areas, underscoring the severity of the violations and emphasizing the urgency of the closure decision.

It is crucial to note that Adafsa's commitment to enforcing food safety regulations is evident in their periodic inspections of food establishments. In this case, the authority took swift action to protect the well-being of the public by shutting down 'Toshka Cafetria.'
