Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the UAE, His Highness Sheikh Nahyan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who is the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Zayed Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation and the Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, officially opened the 8th Naval Defence & Maritime Security Exhibition (NAVDEX 2025). The event is being held in Abu Dhabi and will continue until February 21, 2025.

NAVDEX 2025 provides a global platform for experts and professionals from the naval and maritime defense and security industries. It is an opportunity for them to display and discuss the latest innovations, technologies, and advancements in the field.
During his visit, His Highness Sheikh Nahyan toured the exhibition and praised the efforts of the organizers. He highlighted how the event is helping to promote knowledge sharing and collaboration among people and companies from around the world, especially those working in naval defense and security.
