Dubai: The UAE is set to announce petrol and diesel prices for October 2025 in the coming days, with official rates expected by September 30. Residents closely watch these monthly revisions, which help determine fuel budgets and daily expenses.
In September, fuel prices saw minor changes compared to August:
Super 98 petrol: Dh2.70 per litre
Special 95 petrol: Dh2.58 per litre
E-Plus petrol: Dh2.51 per litre
Diesel: Dh2.66 per litre, down from Dh2.78 in August
Since the UAE deregulated fuel prices in 2015, monthly rates have generally mirrored global oil market trends. With October’s rates pending, motorists are closely monitoring international developments to anticipate possible changes.

Global Oil Trends Impacting UAE Prices
Brent crude is trading above $68 per barrel, while US oil exceeds $64 per barrel. Prices have been influenced by global tensions, including US-Russia relations, and ongoing OPEC+ supply concerns. A drop in US crude stockpiles last week has added further upward pressure, while diesel prices in Europe have surged due to disruptions in Russian supplies.
However, some supply-side factors may temper increases. Iraq is set to restart exports from its Kurdistan region, adding an estimated 230,000 barrels per day to the market. Additionally, higher OPEC+ production in September is helping offset supply risks.
For UAE drivers, this suggests that fuel prices could remain stable or rise slightly next month. Significant hikes are unlikely unless geopolitical tensions escalate or unexpected supply disruptions occur.
The UAE Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure will release official October 2025 fuel prices by September 30. Motorists are advised to stay updated for accurate rates ahead of the new month.
