Sharjah’s leadership has reached out to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with heartfelt messages of sympathy following a loss in the Saudi royal family. His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, sent a detailed condolence message to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, expressing profound sorrow over the passing of the mother of Prince Mishaal bin Badr bin Saud bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
In his message, the Sharjah Ruler extended sincere prayers for the late mother’s soul to be granted mercy and eternal peace. He also wished strength and comfort to Prince Mishaal, his family members, and the wider Saudi royal family during this period of grief. The message reflected a tone of genuine compassion, highlighting the strong personal and historical ties shared by the leadership of the UAE and Saudi Arabia.
Supporting this gesture, His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, also dispatched a condolence message to King Salman. His note echoed similar sentiments of sympathy, underscoring Sharjah’s solidarity with the Saudi leadership.
His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, and His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, sent their own messages as well. Both conveyed prayers for peace for the departed and comfort for the grieving family, reaffirming the unity and mutual respect shared between the two nations.
The collective response from Sharjah’s leaders demonstrates the depth of regional ties and the long-standing tradition of standing together in moments of personal and national sorrow.
