Housing Packages for Citizens
The housing support offered by MBRHE is divided into different types to cover multiple needs:
Housing Schemes:
A total of 1,390 housing schemes, valued at AED1.184 billion, have been provided to support citizens in building, maintaining, and purchasing homes. These schemes are designed to ensure that families can have comfortable, safe, and suitable living spaces. The schemes include assistance for constructing new homes, repairing or upgrading existing homes, and even helping families buy houses in approved areas.
Housing Grants:
In addition to housing schemes, MBRHE has provided 935 housing grants worth AED540.3 million. These grants are given directly to citizens to support home maintenance, construction, or ownership. The grants ensure that families who need help to improve or buy a home can receive financial support easily.
Land Grants:
MBRHE has also facilitated 695 land grants. These grants are part of a broader housing support system that enables citizens to own suitable land for building homes. This effort ensures that every Emirati family has the opportunity to own property, which is important for long-term family and social stability.
Leadership Vision and Commitment
His Excellency Mohammed Hassan Al Shehhi, Acting CEO of MBRHE, emphasized that these achievements are a result of the visionary leadership of the UAE and Dubai. He said:
"We are committed to translating the noble directives into real results by innovating a flexible and comprehensive housing system based on efficiency and service quality, contributing to higher levels of family and social stability."
This statement reflects the MBRHE’s strong focus on providing high-quality housing solutions that meet the needs of citizens. It shows that the leadership is not only giving financial support but also ensuring that every citizen has access to housing that improves their life and strengthens family bonds.
Aligning With Dubai’s Long-Term Plans
All the housing support initiatives are aligned with the Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan and Dubai Social Agenda 33. These plans aim to:
Make Dubai a global leader in quality of life
Provide a sustainable and advanced housing ecosystem
Promote economic growth alongside social cohesion
Ensure citizens have easy access to high-quality homes
By following these plans, MBRHE ensures that the housing support is not just temporary assistance but part of a long-term strategy to improve life in Dubai. It also ensures that families benefit from a system that continues to grow and support future generations.
Impact on Families and Society
The housing packages provided by MBRHE have a significant impact on both families and the wider community. Some of the main benefits include:
Family Stability:
Having a secure home is essential for the well-being of any family. The support provided helps families have safe, stable, and comfortable living environments. This reduces stress and strengthens family relationships.
Economic Support:
By providing financial assistance for homes and land, the MBRHE also helps citizens manage their budgets better. Families can use the grants and schemes to improve their homes or buy land without worrying about high costs.
Social Cohesion:
Housing plays a key role in building strong communities. When citizens have proper homes, neighborhoods become more connected, safer, and supportive. This promotes social cohesion, making communities stronger and more harmonious.
Future Generations:
The long-term planning ensures that children and young people grow up in safe and stable environments. This contributes to better education, health, and opportunities for future generations, which is crucial for the sustainable development of Dubai.
A Comprehensive Housing System
The Mohammed Bin Rashid Housing Establishment has created a flexible and integrated housing system. This system is designed to meet the needs of different citizens, whether they are looking to:
Build a new home
Maintain or repair an existing home
Purchase a house
Own land for future construction
By offering multiple options, the MBRHE ensures that no family is left behind. This approach reflects the leadership’s vision of providing personalized and effective support to every citizen.
Looking Ahead
As the year progresses, MBRHE plans to continue its support programs, building on the achievements of the first half of 2025. The goal is to ensure that every Emirati family has access to safe, affordable, and high-quality housing.
The Establishment also plans to:
Expand housing grants and schemes
Facilitate more land grants for future homeowners
Improve the quality and efficiency of services
Ensure housing support aligns with Dubai’s 2040 Urban Master Plan
These steps are part of a long-term strategy to ensure sustainable growth, economic stability, and social well-being for all Emirati citizens.
The Mohammed Bin Rashid Housing Establishment’s delivery of AED1.725 billion in housing support to 3,027 beneficiaries in the first half of 2025 reflects a strong commitment by the UAE and Dubai leadership to improve citizens’ lives. Through housing schemes, grants, and land allocations, MBRHE ensures that every family has access to safe, comfortable, and suitable homes.
The leadership’s vision, combined with the MBRHE’s efficient and comprehensive system, strengthens family stability, enhances quality of life, and contributes to Dubai’s long-term social and economic growth. By following the Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan and Dubai Social Agenda 33, the MBRHE is creating a sustainable and advanced housing ecosystem that benefits citizens today and for generations to come.
This initiative shows that Dubai is not just a city of modern architecture and economic growth but also a city that cares deeply about the welfare and happiness of its people. With such continued support, every Emirati family can dream of owning a home and enjoying a stable, prosperous life.
