UAE President Meets Kurdistan PM to Boost Bilateral Cooperation

President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan today welcomed His Excellency Masrour Barzani, Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region, who arrived in the UAE on a working visit. Prime Minister Barzani congratulated His Highness on the UAE’s 54th Eid Al Etihad, wishing the nation continued progress and prosperity. Sheikh Mohamed thanked him for the warm greetings and expressed hope for lasting peace, stability, and growth in Iraq.

Both leaders discussed the strong relations between the UAE and Iraq, especially with the Kurdistan Region, and explored new ways to expand cooperation that supports shared development goals. They highlighted opportunities in areas that can benefit both nations and their peoples, reinforcing their commitment to deeper partnership.

The meeting also included an exchange of views on several regional and international matters of mutual concern. Both sides stressed the importance of promoting regional stability, peace, and cooperation across the Middle East. They agreed that stronger joint efforts can help create a safer and more prosperous future for all countries in the region.
