Sheikh Hamdan Attends Graduation Ceremony for Arab & Global Leadership Programmes

His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Defence, attended a special graduation ceremony for three groups of Arab and international leaders. These programmes were organised by the UAE in partnership with various countries and global organisations as part of efforts to exchange knowledge and expertise between governments.

Honouring Future Leaders
The graduation ceremony took place during the World Governments Summit 2025 and celebrated participants from three major programmes:

1. Future Government Leaders in the Arab World Programme – This was the second batch of young leaders trained under a partnership between the UAE Government, the Arab Organization for Administrative Development (part of the League of Arab States), and the Government Knowledge Exchange Office. A total of 40 young leaders from 20 Arab countries successfully completed the programme.
2. International Cybersecurity Leadership Programme – This was the first group of graduates from a cybersecurity leadership initiative launched by the Government Knowledge Exchange Office and the Cybersecurity Council. This programme trained 29 cybersecurity professionals from different countries to enhance their leadership skills in the field.
3. International Accelerators Ambassadors Programme – Organised in collaboration between the UAE Government and the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), this programme focused on fast-tracking solutions and innovations in aviation. The first group included 14 participants from ICAO member states.

Strengthening Global Partnerships
The UAE Government Experience Exchange Programme was introduced in 2018 at the World Governments Summit. The aim of this initiative is to build strong partnerships with other governments, share experiences, and exchange knowledge to help improve governance and leadership worldwide.

Since its launch, the programme has established partnerships with 45 countries and six international organisations, helping to shape the future through collaboration and innovation. It plays a key role in supporting global governments by improving their leadership capabilities and preparing them for future challenges.

By hosting and supporting such programmes, the UAE continues to strengthen international relations, promote cooperation, and invest in the future of government leadership.
