Vice Sports Minister Crowns Günther in 3rd Round of 2025 Jeddah E-Prix

The third round of the 2025 Jeddah E-Prix began with excitement on Friday, February 14, at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit. This event marked the seventh consecutive year that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has hosted the prestigious race. The event was organized by the Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation (SAMF) and held under the supervision of the Ministry of Sport.

In a thrilling competition, German driver Maximilian Günther from the DS Penske team claimed first place in the third round of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship. The Vice Minister of Sport, Bader bin Abdulrahman Al-Kadi, presented the well-deserved award to Günther, recognizing his outstanding performance on the track.

Close behind Günther was British driver Oliver Rowland from the Nissan team, who secured second place with impressive skill and determination. The third spot on the podium was taken by another British driver, Taylor Barnard, representing the NEOM McLaren team. All three drivers displayed exceptional talent and sportsmanship throughout the race.

In addition to the individual awards, the DS Penske team celebrated a significant achievement by winning the first-place team award. Prince Khalid bin Sultan bin Abdullah bin Faisal, the Chairman of SAMF and the Saudi Motorsport Company, presented the trophy to the team. This victory was particularly special for DS Penske as it was their first win since the introduction of the new PIT BOOST energy feature, which added an exciting twist to the competition.
