The statement highlighted that Saudi Arabia is ready to host the summit and continues to work towards a lasting solution to the conflict between Russia and Ukraine. It also mentioned that Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has been playing an active role in supporting peace efforts. His involvement dates back to March 3, 2022, when he spoke with both President Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

Over the last three years, Saudi Arabia has remained dedicated to peace efforts. The Kingdom has hosted several meetings to help work toward a political solution to the war.

In response, Ukrainian President Zelenskyy shared on Friday that he plans to visit Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Turkey, though he did not specify when these trips would take place.
