Sharjah Ladies Run 2026: Into the Virtual Universe

Sharjah Ladies Club is gearing up to host the 11th edition of the Sharjah Ladies Run 2026, the emirate’s premier women-only running event. Returning under the dynamic theme “Into the Virtual Universe,” this year’s edition promises a high-energy experience blending fitness, fun, and empowerment.

The event will be held under the patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohamed Al Qasimi, Wife of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah and Chairperson of Sharjah Family and Community Council, on Saturday, 24 January 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at Al-Siyouh Ladies Park, Sharjah.

Building on last year’s popular “Galaxy” theme, this year’s “Into the Virtual Universe” concept elevates the experience by celebrating imagination, innovation, and creativity. Reflecting the UAE’s sustainability vision, the event will incorporate eco-friendly measures, including recycled race materials and reduced plastic usage, encouraging participants to embrace greener practices.

The 5 km run aims to inspire women to maintain a healthy, active lifestyle within a supportive community. Cash prizes will be awarded to the top three finishers, along with special recognition for Emirati participants, totaling AED 21,000 in prizes and exclusive gifts from event sponsors.

Beyond the race, participants can enjoy a vibrant lineup of activities, including Zumba sessions, warm-up exercises, and fitness challenges led by Fitness 180 instructors. Attendees will also benefit from healthy food options and exclusive offers across SLC facilities, making the event as enjoyable as it is inspiring.

Women and girls aged 12 and above are invited to register through the Sharjah Ladies Club mobile application. Leading up to the event, the Club will share training tips, warm-up routines, and helpful information via its social media platforms to ensure participants are race-ready.
