Sharjah Ladies Club has announced the 11th edition of the Sharjah Ladies Run 2026, highlighting its ongoing commitment to promoting women’s health, fitness, and community participation. The event, themed “Into the Virtual Universe,” combines running with creativity and innovation, providing participants with an exciting and immersive experience.
The run will take place under the patronage of H.H. Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohamed Al Qasimi, wife of the Ruler of Sharjah and Chairperson of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs (SCFA). Scheduled for Saturday, 24th January 2026, from 18:00 to 22:00, the event will be held at Al Siyouh Ladies Park in Sharjah.
Following last year’s “Galaxy” theme, the 2026 edition focuses on sustainability, featuring eco-friendly race materials and reduced plastic usage, in line with the UAE’s environmental goals. The 5 km race offers a total prize fund of AED21,000, including cash prizes for the top three finishers and special awards for Emirati participants.
In addition to the race, the programme includes warm-up sessions, Zumba workouts, fitness challenges, healthy food options, and exclusive offers from Sharjah Ladies Club facilities. Organizers aim to provide a fun, active, and socially engaging experience that encourages women to prioritize their fitness while enjoying community activities.
This edition of the Sharjah Ladies Run continues to emphasize the importance of physical activity, eco-consciousness, and social interaction, making it one of the most anticipated events for women in the UAE’s sporting calendar.
