Sharjah Ruler Approves New Organisational Structure for Amiri Guard

Sharjah: In a significant administrative move, His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has issued an Emiri Decree approving the general organisational structure of the Amiri Guard in the emirate.

The decree marks a key step in strengthening the operational and administrative framework of the Amiri Guard, a vital security body responsible for safeguarding leadership and key institutions. With the general structure now approved, the path is set for a more streamlined and clearly defined working system across all units.

According to the decree, the Sharjah Executive Council will take charge of issuing the next phase of decisions. These include approving the detailed organisational structure, finalising job descriptions for all units based on their functions, and overseeing the creation, merger, or cancellation of organisational units as required. These measures aim to ensure the Guard’s departments operate with clarity, efficiency, and alignment with Sharjah’s security objectives.

The latest decree underscores Sharjah’s continued efforts to enhance institutional governance and strengthen security readiness through structured development and organisational clarity.
