Dubai, August 2025 – The Sakinah Art Exhibition, held at Mehromah Art House in Dubai from 23rd to 29th August 2025, was a remarkable celebration of art, peace, and creativity. Organised by Art4you Gallery and curated by Jesno Jackson, the exhibition brought together talented artists from around the world and the region to explore the deep connection between land, life, and soul.
The word Sakinah in Arabic means tranquillity and spiritual peace. The exhibition, themed Silent Symphony, transformed the gallery into a space of reflection, harmony, and belonging. Each artwork invited visitors to experience a peaceful dialogue between nature, humanity, and memory.
A Week of Art and Reflection
Over the week, the gallery became a sanctuary where visitors could pause, reflect, and connect with the artworks. Paintings, mixed media, digital art, and installations filled the space, each telling a unique story. The exhibition was not only a visual experience but also an emotional journey, showing landscapes, cityscapes, and human experiences as emotional terrains.
The diversity of the artists made the exhibition even more special. Coming from different cultures and countries, each artist shared their own interpretation of peace, life, and harmony. Despite their different styles and backgrounds, all the works carried a shared message: the importance of connection, reflection, and unity in a fast-changing world.
Featured Artists and Their Works
The exhibition highlighted the works of fifteen talented artists, each offering a unique perspective.
Moosa Alhalyan Samson explored surrealist storytelling through monochrome works. His pieces reflected themes of resilience, revolution, and the strength of the human spirit.
Dr. Muna Balfaqeeh showcased the depth of Emirati heritage, expressing culture and identity through soulful compositions.
Jamie Samson presented cubism pop art, celebrating the connection between land, identity, and heritage.
Adarsha Ajay used acrylics to explore emotions and the relationship between humans and nature, showing delicate balances between life and soul.
From Europe, Nataliia Venerova, now based in Dubai, shared vivid paintings of landscapes that combined nature with human connection. Thomas Antony used realism to blur the line between imagination and reality, capturing life’s cherished moments in stunning detail.
Alice Kauer introduced her Balance and Soul series, highlighting inner peace and human emotions through contemporary forms. Jeevan Oroolu Veettil presented landscapes inspired by life’s quiet moments, encouraging reflection and renewal.
Adding more depth, Tatiana Lamiri’s abstract works focused on spiritual resonance, while Sherrin Sebin shared serene landscapes capturing the quiet beauty of nature. Sisters Rabia Nawab and Noreen Nawab infused heritage and grace into their canvases, expressing love, serenity, and compassion.
Jana Dambekalne combined design and free artistic energy in mixed media collages, evoking nostalgia and delicate romanticism. Gabriel Noronho explored culture and life journeys through symbolic, soulful works. Nikola Kiraga brought surrealist imagination to life, blending symbolism and emotion in vivid creations.
A Symphony of Styles and Voices
Together, these artists created a silent symphony. Every style, from abstract to realism, from cubism to surrealism, contributed to a harmonious collective experience. Visitors were able to walk through the gallery and feel the diversity of voices while sensing a common thread: the universal connection between humanity and nature, memory and present, and silence and symphony.
The exhibition also highlighted art as a bridge—linking different cultures, ideas, and people. Each artwork reminded viewers that creativity can bring people together, fostering understanding, reflection, and inner peace.
The Role of Art4you Gallery
Art4you Gallery, the organiser of the exhibition, continues to serve as a cultural bridge in Dubai. Visitors left the exhibition with a sense of calm, connection, and appreciation for the creativity that transcends borders.
The Sakinah Art Exhibition closed on 29th August 2025, leaving a lasting impression. It reminded everyone that art has the power to connect people, tell stories of culture and heritage, and bring spiritual calm in a busy world. The exhibition celebrated both diversity and harmony, showing that even in a world of different voices and styles, art can speak a single language: the language of peace and shared humanity.
Through exhibitions like Sakinah, Dubai continues to strengthen its position as a hub for art and culture. Art4you Gallery’s dedication ensures that creativity, reflection, and inspiration are always within reach for residents and visitors alike.
