On February 6, Gascón took to Instagram to share her thoughts. She wrote, “I decided, for the film, for Jacques, for the cast, for the incredible crew who deserves it, for the beautiful adventure we all had together, to let the work talk for itself.”

She also mentioned that she hopes her silence will allow the film to be appreciated without distractions.

Nominations at the SAG Awards 2025

For those who may not know, Emilia Pérez has received several nominations at this year’s SAG Awards. Zoe Saldaña was nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role, while Gascón was nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role. Additionally, the entire cast of the film was nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture.
