Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai, shared an amazing video on Instagram that left his 16.8 million followers in awe. The video shows 31 athletes performing an extraordinary stunt: jumping off the Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world. The video was posted on Friday, February 21, with the caption, “Exit139, 437 Jumps, 31 Athletes, 15 Nationalities #XDubai."

The event took place on Tuesday, February 18. The athletes took a running start and leaped from the 828-meter-high tower. Some of them dove straight down, while others spread their bodies in mid-air, creating a breathtaking view. Despite the height and danger, all the athletes landed safely in front of the Dubai Mall and the Dubai Fountain.
The stunt was organized by XDubai, Skydive Dubai, the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism, and Emaar. It was called Exit139, and it’s one of the most daring extreme sports events ever seen. XDubai shared their excitement on Instagram, saying, "This is @dubai, this is our dream jump! #EXIT139. History has been made. 31 of the world’s best athletes, 2 days, 437 BASE jumps from the world’s tallest building.”
This wasn’t the first time such a stunt was performed at the Burj Khalifa. Back in 2014, two athletes set a Guinness World Record for the highest BASE jump ever from a building. They jumped off a platform that was specially built on top of the Burj Khalifa.
