Cam Roigard scored twice on his return from injury as the New Zealand All Blacks overcame a late fightback from Australia to win 33-24 in a Rugby Championship test at Eden Park, Auckland, on Saturday. The victory secures New Zealand’s hold on the Bledisloe Cup for another year.
The All Blacks raced to a 17-point lead with tries from Caleb Clarke, Leroy Carter, and Roigard before Australia mounted a comeback. The Wallabies, who last held the Bledisloe Cup in 2003, were within two points after flanker Carlo Tizzano scored 11 minutes from full time.

A yellow card shown to Wallabies winger Harry Potter in the 73rd minute proved decisive. Playing with an extra man, New Zealand extended their lead as Roigard scored his second try, reinforcing the All Blacks’ dominance at Eden Park. New Zealand has now gone unbeaten in 52 tests at the venue over 31 years.
With this win, the All Blacks move to the top of the Rugby Championship standings ahead of Argentina’s clash with South Africa later on Saturday.
The All Blacks’ performance highlighted a strong comeback from injury for Roigard and solid team coordination, maintaining their position as one of rugby’s most formidable sides.
