Riyadh: Emirates has proudly marked Riyadh as its first destination in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) to welcome the newly refurbished Boeing 777. This upgraded aircraft brings exciting features, including an all-new Business Class cabin and highly praised Premium Economy seats, enhancing the travel experience for passengers.
The refurbished Boeing 777 will operate the daily EK 819/820 service, which departs from Dubai at 07:10 AM and arrives in Riyadh at 08:05 AM. The return flight from the Saudi capital leaves at 09:40 AM, landing back in Dubai at 12:35 PM. This convenient schedule aims to cater to both business and leisure travelers looking for seamless connectivity between the two cities.
The four-class Emirates Boeing 777 boasts 24 Premium Economy seats arranged in a comfortable 2-4-2 layout. These seats come equipped with 6-way adjustable headrests, providing extra comfort and space for travelers. This makes the Premium Economy section an attractive option for those seeking an upgraded experience without the full Business Class fare.

In the Business Class cabin, the design prioritizes privacy and comfort, featuring 38 seats arranged in a spacious 1-2-1 configuration. Each seat provides direct aisle access, ensuring ease of movement. Additional amenities include a mini-bar and multiple charging ports, allowing passengers to stay connected and refreshed during their journey.
For those seeking the ultimate in luxury, the aircraft also includes six First Class gamechanger suites, which redefine opulence in air travel. The refreshed Economy Class cabin features 256 ergonomic seats with leather headrests that can be adjusted vertically, enhancing the comfort for economy passengers.
By the end of this year, Emirates plans to have 48 aircraft equipped with Premium Economy, serving a total of 27 destinations, including Dubai. The fleet will consist of Boeing 777s, A380s, and A350s, underscoring Emirates' commitment to providing passengers with more options for an elevated travel experience.
Emirates currently operates a robust schedule of 72 weekly flights to four destinations in Saudi Arabia, including Riyadh, which receives three daily flights. These flights are serviced by a mixed fleet of Boeing 777s and A380s, ensuring a range of choices for travelers.
Tickets for these flights can be conveniently booked through the Emirates website, the Emirates App, or via various online and offline travel agents, making it easy for passengers to plan their journeys.
As Emirates continues to enhance its services and fleet, the introduction of the refurbished Boeing 777 is a testament to the airline's commitment to passenger comfort and satisfaction in an increasingly competitive market.
