Xiaomi’s sub-brand is gearing up for the release of the Redmi Note 15 series, with the standard model set to debut in India. Expected to launch in the first week of January 2026, the Redmi Note 15 will lead the series, followed by Pro and Pro Plus models. Key features, including a high-performance camera, have already been teased by the company.
Scheduled for an official launch on January 6, the Redmi Note 15 will be available through Amazon, the official Redmi online store, and physical retail locations across India. Anticipation builds for additional features to be revealed closer to the actual date.
Leaked information suggests a stunning 6.77-inch curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, notable brightness levels, and Gorilla Glass protection. This impressive display is expected to deliver a smooth viewing experience.
In terms of specifications, the smartphone is likely to be powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset, featuring up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Moreover, it is anticipated to include a robust 5,520mAh battery with 45W fast charging and an IP66 rating for dust and water resistance.
On the camera front, the Redmi Note 15 is rumored to boast a 108MP camera with optical image stabilization at the rear and a 20MP front camera for selfies and video calls.
According to a tipster, the starting price in India for the Redmi Note 15 could be around Rs 22,999 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant, with the upgraded 8GB RAM and 256GB version potentially priced at Rs 24,999. Please note these are unofficial estimates and may change by launch.
