Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ) has successfully concluded a landmark India Roadshow, connecting Indian businesses with UAE opportunities across Pune, Chennai, Bangalore, and New Delhi. The initiative drew over 200 companies, spanning sectors such as manufacturing, engineering, chemicals, and building materials.
The week-long roadshow emphasized RAKEZ’s strategic role under the UAE–India Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) and highlighted its industrial ecosystem as a competitive and cost-effective base for Indian enterprises seeking global expansion.
A significant milestone was reached in New Delhi with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between RAKEZ and the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI). The agreement outlines collaborative efforts in knowledge exchange, joint business events, delegation visits, and enabling Indian companies to leverage UAE market access.
The roadshow also marked the grand finale of the UAE–India Start-up Series, a first-of-its-kind initiative designed to spotlight high-potential Indian start-ups. Among the winners was Bioreform, a Hyderabad-based company producing biodegradable and compostable packaging alternatives, which will now receive RAKEZ support to scale internationally.
Through interactive sessions and roundtables, RAKEZ showcased its business-friendly policies, opportunities for joint ventures, technology partnerships, and the potential for Indian enterprises to expand operations in Ras Al Khaimah. The initiative reinforced UAE–India trade ties and positioned RAKEZ as a key gateway for Indian businesses seeking regional and global growth.
