Ram Gopal Varma’s famous crime film Satya is all set to return to the big screen. In the past, many Bollywood movies have been re-released in theaters, giving fans a chance to watch their favorite films again. Now, Satya will be back in cinemas on January 17, 2025, and fans are excited.

On January 3, 2025, PVR Cinemas and INOX Movies made the announcement on Instagram. They shared a new poster for Satya, confirming that it will be re-released in PVR INOX theaters on January 17. The post had a cool message: "The past can't be buried, and neither can the truth! Get ready to dive into the world of Satya once again at PVR INOX. Re-releasing at PVR INOX on Jan 17!"
After the announcement, many fans commented to show how excited they were. One fan said, “One of my favorite underworld movies,” while another commented, “Now we're talking cinema,” and many others said they couldn’t wait to watch the film again in theaters.
Satya was first released in 1998 and had a great cast, including J. D. Chakravarthy, Urmila Matondkar, Manoj Bajpayee, Saurabh Shukla, Aditya Shrivastava, and Paresh Rawal. The film was directed and produced by Ram Gopal Varma, with the screenplay written by Saurabh Shukla and Anurag Kashyap. The movie was a big hit and won many awards. Manoj Bajpayee won the Best Supporting Actor award at the 46th National Film Awards for his amazing performance. The film’s music also became a big hit and is still loved by many.
In other news, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, the romantic movie starring Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone, was also re-released on January 3, 2025. It had a great opening day and made about Rs 1.25 crore in net collections.
