His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, visited the 31st edition of the Dubai International Boat Show. This major event, organized by the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC), is taking place at Dubai Harbour and will continue until February 23.
This year’s edition of the boat show has drawn participation from over 1,000 brands representing more than 60 countries. It also features more than 200 yachts and watercraft, making it one of the most significant events in the global maritime industry.

His Highness Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Sports Council, accompanied Sheikh Mohammed during his visit.
Sheikh Mohammed praised the Dubai International Boat Show, recognizing it as one of the world's top maritime exhibitions. He emphasized that the event is crucial in strengthening Dubai’s reputation as a leading global hub for the maritime industry.
Speaking about the event, Sheikh Mohammed said, “The Dubai International Boat Show highlights Dubai’s position as a major center for yachting and maritime tourism. With its excellent infrastructure and world-class facilities, Dubai has become a top destination for international cruise ships and visiting yachts.”
Sheikh Mohammed also welcomed the participation of international brands and first-time exhibitors at the show. He expressed his happiness at seeing top global companies choosing Dubai to launch their latest innovations. “We are delighted to welcome leading companies and new brands to this year’s show. We hope they achieve their goals and continue to grow in Dubai’s supportive business environment,” he added.
During his visit, Sheikh Mohammed toured various exhibitor stands. He was joined by His Excellency Helal Saeed Al Marri, Director General of the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism and Director General of Dubai World Trade Centre Authority, along with His Excellency Saeed Hareb, Secretary General of the Dubai Sports Council and Senior Advisor to the Dubai International Boat Show (DIBS).
One of his key stops was the Gulf Craft stand, where the UAE’s premier luxury yacht manufacturer showcased several new high-end yachts. Sheikh Mohammed also visited booths of renowned global yacht makers, including Azimut, Ferretti, Sunseeker, and Yachts One. Additionally, he explored exhibits from industry leaders presenting the latest advancements in maritime technology and luxury watercraft.
The Dubai International Boat Show 2025 is providing a unique platform for the global maritime community. It allows industry professionals to display and sell luxury yachts, promote exclusive waterfront real estate, and highlight new technological innovations. The event also supports business partnerships and offers a high-end hospitality experience for visitors.

This year, new features have been introduced, such as the Brokerage Section, where buyers can explore pre-owned luxury yachts with expert assistance, and the Innovation Hub, which supports startups and small businesses in the maritime technology industry. The event remains a leader in investment, innovation, and industry collaboration, reinforcing its status as a top global platform for yachting and maritime excellence.
