With this partnership, Rabdan Academy has officially become a member of the prestigious INTERPOL Global Academy Network. This network aims to improve specialized training standards for law enforcement agencies across the world. It encourages collaboration and knowledge-sharing between leading institutions to help develop the best training programs.
Under this agreement, Rabdan Academy and INTERPOL will work together to create and implement joint training activities and projects. These efforts will include developing courses, organizing seminars and conferences, conducting study tours, and running special programs to train trainers.
His Excellency James Anthony Morse, President of Rabdan Academy, highlighted the importance of this collaboration. He stated, "This partnership with INTERPOL supports our goal of building specialized skills in safety, security, defense, emergency preparedness, and crisis management. Through cooperation with leading international and local organizations, we aim to improve the quality of training at Rabdan Academy and enhance the skills of law enforcement personnel in our region and beyond."
His Excellency Valdecy Urquiza, Secretary General of INTERPOL, also emphasized the value of working with respected academic institutions like Rabdan Academy. He explained that such partnerships help develop strong global training standards and methods for law enforcement. He noted that this agreement will not only benefit INTERPOL members but will also strengthen the entire INTERPOL Global Academy Network.
As part of the agreement, both Rabdan Academy and INTERPOL will support each other by developing training materials, exchanging academic resources, and sharing faculty members and expertise. This collaboration will lead to more training opportunities and joint research projects on important law enforcement topics.
Additionally, students at Rabdan Academy will gain access to courses and training tools from the INTERPOL Virtual Academy. This will allow them to learn more about international policing and improve their skills. Rabdan Academy’s training programs will also receive official accreditation from INTERPOL, further enhancing their quality and recognition.
Rabdan Academy remains committed to working with top institutions around the world and in the region. It continues to focus on developing national talent and preparing professionals to handle future challenges with the highest level of readiness.
The INTERPOL Global Academy was established in 2019 and includes trusted law enforcement training institutions worldwide. It provides a global approach to police training, ensuring officers receive the best education possible.
The agreement between Rabdan Academy and INTERPOL was signed during IDEX 2025, an international defense exhibition where Rabdan Academy is participating as an exhibitor.
