Qatar Strengthens US Ties in High-Level Defense Talks

Doha, Qatar – In a move highlighting the strong strategic partnership between Qatar and the United States, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, met with Admiral Charles Bradford Cooper, Commander of US Central Command (CENTCOM), during his official visit to the country on Tuesday.

The meeting focused on enhancing military and defense cooperation between the two nations, reflecting Qatar’s commitment to maintaining regional security and stability. Discussions covered key areas of collaboration, including joint training initiatives, defense technology exchange, and long-term strategic planning. Both sides emphasized the importance of continued coordination to address emerging security challenges in the Middle East.
